I return.

I sided with the Barons against King John, even though I had previously sworn peace with the King at Northampton, and my castle of Tonbridge was taken. I played a leading part in the negotiations for Magna Carta, being one of the twenty five sureties. On 9 November 1215, I was one of the commissioners on the part of the Barons to negotiate the peace with the King. In 1215, my lands in counties Cambridge, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex were granted to Robert de Betun. Myself and my son were among the Barons excommunicated by the Pope in 1215.

I am now ready to return to claim what is mine and to re assert Magna Carta and the Bill of Rights as being the only lawful law of the land and being common to all.

I am one of the original 25 and I reclaim my rightful place among the sureties of the Barons Committee reformed for 2012.
